Prayer Points South Sudan

image017Four classrooms have been erected, but still require some final work.  Praying that the final building materials can be purchased in order to start school in February.

Catherine is a woman who is a mid-wife and is also qualified to teach the children.  She is ready to move to the village once we have finances in place to pay her a salary.

A second hand vehicle is necessary to transport volunteers and materials.  It must be four wheel drive as the roads are in many places non-existent.  Currently anytime Alex or the volunteers need to travel from the capital city of Juba to Terekeka County a vehicle and driver must be hired, which is expensive.

A hand pumped borehole well is needed to supply water to the school.

Generators and solar power for electricity

In the future, the vision for Timothy School is to have a clinic to serve the children and surrounding communities, agricultural classes to be a part of the curriculum, to have a school that teaches all eight grades and eventually high school.  Alex even sees the day when a university for these students could be established.
